About the Role

We are excited to offer a challenging opportunity for a skilled Roofer to join our team at Liberty, based in the Wirral area.

As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality roofing services to our clients, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and exceeding expectations.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Undertaking full roofing duties, including identifying and rectifying defects;
  • Surveying and correctly placing slates/tiles in isolated patches;
  • Removing old roof coverings and replacing full covering to all styles of roofs;
  • Re-bedding and renewing hip and ridge tiles;
  • Repairing and replacing lead valleys;
  • Point, repair, rebuild chimney stacks and re-bed/renew chimney pots;
  • Repairing mineral felt and asphalt flat roof covering;
  • Renewing/replacing lead flashing to chimneys and lead up stands;
  • Liaising with customers to arrange and carry out work, adhering to their needs and working from written and verbal instructions;
What We Are Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Served a recognised Apprenticeship and qualification (NVQ L2/L3);
  • Competence in all aspects of roofing, with experience of maintenance work on domestic properties, including high-rise blocks for general repairs and refurbishments;
  • A background of general roof work and the ability to work in confined spaces;
  • A current driving licence is essential; skilled workers will hold a CSCS card, have asbestos awareness, and their own tools;
