Children's Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Children's Nurse to join our paediatric nursing team at the Amazon Children's Ward and Jungle Assessment Unit located at Peterborough City Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive, high-quality paediatric medical and surgical care to patients within the Amazon ward and Jungle Assessment Unit.
- Use knowledge and resources effectively and responsibly to enhance the service and actively engage in the development of the service.
- Rotate through other units to facilitate patient care and undertake a rotation to Hinchingbrooke Hospital's Children Wards for a maximum of three months per year.
- RCN registration and RN qualification.
- Evidence of being a Reflective Practitioner and ability to organise and prioritise workload.
- Desirable: Supervisor and Assessor, HDU course, care and administration via CVC, venepuncture and cannulation skills, experience within Paediatric acute ward.
- Generous annual leave entitlement starting at 27 days and increasing to 29 days after five years of service and 33 days after 10 years of service, in addition to national Bank Holidays (pro-rata for part-time staff).
