Support Children in Residential Setting

We are working with a provider of children's services to offer a permanent opportunity for a Residential Children's Worker based in Rotherham. Successful applicants will work as part of a team providing support to children with emotional and behavioural difficulties within a children's home.

The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week, plus sleep-ins, and can expect a competitive salary of £22,183 per annum, based on 40 hours per week at £14.50 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children to maintain and develop relationships with friends and family.
  • Encourage children to integrate with the local community by attending clubs or day centres.
  • Support children in all aspects of their daily living.
  • Safeguard vulnerable children and report any suspicion or evidence of harm.
  • Maintain continuous commitment to professional development.

The Role Includes:
