About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Interaction - Northampton. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification on various machinery.
  • Conducting planned and preventative maintenance on plant machinery.
  • Carrying out work required around the site, working with hydraulic and pneumatic machinery as needed.
  • Reading and understanding mechanical and electrical drawings and specifications to ensure efficient and effective work.
  • Collaborating with the engineering manager to ensure smooth production.
  • Following and adhering to company Health and Safety policies.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a mechanical or electrical bias engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven hydraulic and pneumatic capabilities.
  • In-depth understanding of fault finding and diagnostics on manufacturing machinery.
  • Relevant mechanical or electrical qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQ's/17th/18th edition) - advantageous.
  • Full UK Driver's Licence.
