Job Title: KS2 Teacher (Key Stage 2 Teacher)

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students in Key Stage 2 (Years 3 to 6). The teacher will create a stimulating learning environment, plan and implement engaging lessons across a range of subjects, assess student progress, and work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support the holistic development of each child.


As an experienced educator, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students, helping them to develop their academic, social, and emotional skills. You will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love of learning and encourages students to reach their full potential.

Salary:

£25,000 - £40,000 per annum


Job Description:
Responsibilities:
  1. Teaching and Learning: Teach core subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science, and Humanities, as well as foundation subjects like Art, Physical Education, and Music.
  2. Differentiated Instruction: Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of all students, including those with special educational needs (SEN) and English as an Additional Language (EAL).
  3. Assessment and Reporting: Regularly assess students' progress through formative and summative assessments, ensuring that assessment data is used to inform teaching and learning.

Collaboration and Professional Development:
  1. Teamwork: Work closely with colleagues to plan and implement cross-curricular projects, school events, and extracurricular activities.
  2. Professional Growth: Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching practice.

School Involvement:
  1. Community Engagement: Contribute to the wider life of the school by participating in assemblies, school trips, and special events.

Qualifications:
Requirements:
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
  2. A degree in education or a related subject area is essential.
  3. Adaptability and creativity in teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners.
