Job Description

The Schools Director of Arts will be responsible for leading and managing the arts department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality arts education to students. This includes:

  1. Leading and managing the arts department, providing guidance and support to a team of arts teachers
  2. Developing the school's arts curriculum, ensuring alignment with national standards and educational requirements
  3. Planning and delivering engaging and interactive arts lessons to students across different age groups and abilities
  4. Identifying and nurturing artistic talent among students, providing opportunities for performances and exhibitions
  5. Organizing and coordinating arts events, including concerts, recitals, and exhibitions
  6. Collaborating with other departments within the school to integrate arts into cross-curricular activities

We are looking for an individual with extensive experience as an arts teacher, a proven track record of delivering outstanding arts education, and strong leadership and management skills. The ideal candidate will possess excellent knowledge of arts theory, history, and practical skills, as well as the ability to plan and deliver dynamic and engaging arts lessons.

Estimated Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum
