Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Sustainable Energy Consultant Leader to join our team at Piper Maddox Limited. As a senior member of our energy consulting division, you will be responsible for guiding clients toward sustainable energy solutions and developing innovative renewable energy projects.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in renewable energy consulting, project development, or related roles, with a strong understanding of renewable energy technologies and excellent analytical skills. We are looking for someone who can communicate complex concepts effectively to clients and stakeholders, and who is committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Client Consultations: Meet with clients to understand their energy requirements, assess current energy usage, and identify opportunities for integrating renewable energy solutions.
  2. Develop Renewable Energy Solutions: Design customized renewable energy solutions tailored to each client's needs, considering factors such as solar, wind, hydroelectric, biomass, and geothermal energy options.
  3. Manage Energy Projects: Oversee the implementation of renewable energy projects from inception to completion, coordinating with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
  4. Provide Education and Training: Deliver training sessions and educational workshops for clients and stakeholders to increase awareness and understanding of renewable energy technologies and their benefits.
  5. Conduct Market Research: Stay informed about the latest advancements and trends in renewable energy technologies, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to continuously enhance service offerings and maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, renewable energy, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  2. Proven experience in renewable energy consulting, project development, or related roles.
  3. A strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, including solar photovoltaic, wind turbines, hydroelectric, biomass, and geothermal systems.
  4. Proficiency in energy modeling software, financial analysis tools, and project management software.
  5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  6. Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  7. Knowledge of regulatory requirements, incentives, and policies related to renewable energy.
  8. Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  9. A commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
