As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities for our company. Your primary goal will be to grow our client base by acquiring new accounts and increasing sales revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute business development strategies to drive sales growth
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the IT sales sector
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure long-term business partnerships
  • Prepare and present business cases to senior management to secure funding and resources
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity
  • Collaborate with junior team members to provide guidance and support to help them achieve their sales targets
  • Develop and maintain a database of potential clients and business opportunities
  • Meet with clients to discuss business needs and provide solutions
  • Stay up-to-date on industry knowledge and trends to provide expert advice to clients
  • Generate new leads and follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction with our services
  • Work with the sales director and marketing team to develop new sales strategies and campaigns

Requirements:

  • Strong sales negotiation and closing skills
  • Experience in generating new business sales opportunities in the IT sales sector
  • Demonstrable success in new business sales, with a proven track record of delivering growth within a complex client portfolio
  • Ability to think innovatively and challenge conventional thinking
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • History of achieving personal and divisional sales targets
  • Proven experience of face-to-face client engagement
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
