Job Title: Manufacturing Process Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team in Sheffield.

About the Role:

  • Apply advanced manufacturing techniques to deliver high-quality components through our machine shops.
  • Serve as the technical authority for manufacturing routing, programming, and quality conformance throughout the component lifecycle.
  • Ensure optimal processes and procedures are applied to meet cost and quality requirements.
  • Accountable for delivering components through the machine shops, maintaining communication with machinists, and ensuring delivery, quality, and cost adherence.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Own value streams, equipment, and component machining processes aligned with business needs.
  • Apply lean manufacturing techniques to improve operations and own NPI and CI for highly regulated components manufacture.
  • Provide machining advice, product, and process knowledge to matrix functions like quality.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has a strong understanding of manufacturing engineering techniques and principles.
  • Can apply lean manufacturing methods to enhance performance and efficiency.
  • Is able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Is committed to delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
