Job Title: Director of Diversity and Inclusion

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to serve as our Director of Diversity and Inclusion. This is a key leadership position that will play a critical role in advancing our organization's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Job Summary:

The Director of Diversity and Inclusion will provide strategic leadership and direction to ensure that our organization is inclusive and equitable for all staff, volunteers, and stakeholders. This includes developing and implementing policies, procedures, and programs that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as providing training and support to staff and volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive diversity and inclusion strategy that aligns with our organization's mission and values.
  2. Provide training and support to staff and volunteers on diversity, equity, and inclusion topics.
  3. Collaborate with senior leadership and other departments to ensure that diversity and inclusion are integrated into all aspects of our work.
  4. Monitor and report on diversity and inclusion metrics and make recommendations for improvement.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to advance our diversity and inclusion goals.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a related field (e.g. diversity and inclusion, organizational development, social justice).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in diversity and inclusion leadership or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
