About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a key role in providing leadership and direction to the pharmacy team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality outpatient pharmacy services to patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the efficient and effective delivery of outpatient pharmacy services, maintaining a high standard of professionalism and safety.
- Contribute to the optimisation and development of the outpatient pharmacy.
- Participate in improvement audits and investigations, implementing identified service improvements.
- Work collaboratively with the Pharmacy Manager and deputise in their absence.
- Be responsible for the pharmacy as per GPhC regulations.
- Contribute to the efficient management and administration of the business.
Person Specification
Essential Criteria
- Good standard of education to G.C.S.E level, including English and Maths.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Ability to communicate effectively with members of the public and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Desirable Criteria
- Working towards or holding an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or relevant GPhC accredited Training Programme equivalent to Level 2.
- Experience of working in a pharmacy setting.
- Previous clinical and administrative experience.
- Experience of working in the NHS or other healthcare setting.
