We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Vending Operative to join our team at Caterpillar, Mill Hill, Peterlee. As a Vending Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our vending machines, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the success of our business.
Key Responsibilities- Fill and clean vending machines to the required standards, adhering to company procedures and client-specific Service Level Agreements.
- Rotate stock in vending areas, on your trolley, and in the vending room, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer care, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues in a courteous and professional manner.
- Communicate effectively with customers, sharing relevant information to enhance our high-quality customer service.
- Perform other duties and manage projects as required, aligning with the needs of the business.
- Experience working in a similar contract catering or retail coffee shop environment is desirable, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Vending experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
- A driving license is desirable, but not essential.
- You must be able to work well independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good numeracy skills are essential for this role.
- An hourly rate of £11.44.
- A part-time schedule of 18 hours per week, with shifts ranging from 8:30am to 2:30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
