Clinical Psychologist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Clinical Psychologist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Main Responsibilities- Provide highly specialist psychological assessments and interventions for children, young people, and their families, utilizing evidence-based models and approaches.
- Develop and implement plans for the formal psychological therapy and management of mental health problems, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Conduct neuropsychological assessments, interpreting results and providing feedback to clients, families, and professionals involved in care.
- Provide regular clinical supervision and caseload management, adhering to professional practice guidelines.
- Good honours degree in Psychology and post-graduate doctorate in Clinical Psychology, accredited by BPS & HCPC.
- Training and/or experience in clinical supervision, with the ability to supervise and assess clinical doctorate trainees.
- Substantial post-qualification experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health, with a strong background in psychological therapies and assessment.
- Ability to interpret clinical, professional, and organizational policies, and apply them within the area of specialty.
- Experience of managing junior psychology staff and contributing to service leadership and development.
