Accounts Payable Specialist

LMA is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.
Key Responsibilities- Invoice Processing: Process supplier invoices, expenses, and credit notes in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with all government financial regulations and internal control procedures.
- Vendor Management: Update the invoice tracker for overseas companies and maintain meticulous records for all accounts payable transactions.
- Reconciliations: Reconcile vendor statements, resolve any discrepancies or issues, and ensure accurate payment processing.
- Payment Processing: Conduct weekly payment runs, ensuring payments are loaded into online banking portals, and book payments made outside of payment runs, including tax payments, salaries, and FX payments.
- Experience: Proven experience in Accounts Payable, with a strong knowledge of Accounts Payable principles and procedures.
- Skills: Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately process large volumes of queries.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines, with effective communication skills to interact with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Education: AAT qualified as a minimum, with a strong working knowledge of debits, credits, and general book-keeping.
