Archaeological Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Archaeological Project Manager to lead our team in managing archaeology projects in the northern half of the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a senior role and contribute to the delivery of strategies for developments and infrastructure.
The successful candidate will have experience in project management, staff management, and relevant legislation, as well as a robust knowledge of Irish archaeology and history, planning process, and environmental/heritage legislation.
- Manage archaeological projects from planning to delivery, ensuring that all necessary protocols are followed.
- Develop and implement archaeological strategies and works for developments and infrastructure, working closely with clients and stakeholders.
- Maintain effective relationships with subcontractors, monitoring their work on-site and reviewing deliverables to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Lead and manage teams, providing guidance and support to ensure the success of projects.
- Demonstrate excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and concepts to diverse audiences.
This role offers a generous salary of £65,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including hybrid working, flexible working arrangements, and a generous work-life balance policy.
