Archaeology Project Supervisor

This role requires a highly skilled Senior Archaeologist to lead fieldwork projects across various scales, including smaller independent tasks and larger team-led initiatives. The successful applicant will have a proven track record of managing sites safely and efficiently, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Safely overseeing fieldwork operations
  • Writing reports and contributing to large-scale project documentation
  • Utilizing Harris Matrix software to manage data

The ideal candidate will hold:

  • Significant practical experience in leading archaeological work on site
  • Excellent risk management and health and safety skills
  • Proven experience in delivering commercial archaeology projects
  • A degree in Archaeology or equivalent experience
  • A valid driving license
