About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team as a Functional Assessor, where you will play a vital role in assessing individuals with physical and/or mental health conditions to determine their eligibility for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit scheme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments with individuals, gathering information about their health conditions and how they impact their daily life.
  • Interpret medical evidence and compile detailed reports to support the decision-making process by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
  • Work in a hybrid environment, completing assessments at home and in an assessment centre.
Requirements
  • NMC or HCPC registration is required.
  • At least 1 year's broad post-registration experience, with UK experience being essential.
  • Proactive, keen to learn, and receptive to feedback.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and possess IT competency.
