We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Physicist to join our team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Nuclear Medicine department, you will play a vital role in supporting our services and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Contribute to the scientific support of our Nuclear Medicine department, including imaging, in-vitro services, PET/CT, and SPECT/CT.
- Participate in our QA program to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Assist in the maintenance and development of instrumentation, procedures, and computing facilities.
- Advise and assist clinicians in setting up diagnostic tests and new protocols.
- Participate in capital equipment evaluation and commissioning, and assist in the choice and deployment of equipment and materials.
- Modify image processing software to meet specific clinical needs.
- Provide cover for the Hot Lab manager in carrying out calibration procedures.
- Check and sign-off calculations for in-vitro studies after suitable training.
