Senior Nurse - ITU Unit

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse to join our ITU Unit at The Wellington Hospital, a leading private hospital in the UK. As a Senior Nurse, you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses in providing high-quality care to critically ill patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of nurses in providing patient care and ensuring high standards of care are maintained
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Participate in the development and implementation of unit policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Registered General Nurse with valid NMC pin
  • Recognise post-graduate Critical Care Course (60 credits)
  • Neuro, Spinal or General ITU experience
  • Experience managing others (desirable)
