Support Worker - Residential Care

Social Care in Action is supporting people in our Extra Care sites to ensure they stay safe and well. We are looking for Support Workers to work full-time or part-time at our Extra Care Scheme in Lymington.

This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about delivering person-centred care and support services to our residents.

Shifts will include weekdays from 14:30 to 21:00 and weekends from 07:00 to 21:00. We offer a competitive salary of approximately £20,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role:

  • To assist residents with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • To promote independence and enable residents to make informed decisions about their care and lifestyle.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

About You:

  • You will have a Diploma or equivalent in Health and Social Care or a related field.
  • You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • You will be able to work autonomously and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing your time efficiently.
