We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family and Systemic Psychotherapist to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. As a key member of our Therapies Team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality systemic family psychotherapy to young people with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver systemic family psychotherapy to young people with severe, complex, and persistent mental health problems, learning difficulties, and/or developmental problems.
- Conduct in-depth risk assessments of young people who are at risk to themselves and formulate both short-term and long-term crisis planning.
- Provide evidence-based and formulation-driven systemic perspectives to multidisciplinary risk management, care planning, and decision-making.
- Manage a complex caseload as the family therapist working within a multidisciplinary team and facilitate groups where appropriate, such as carer support groups.
- Monitor clinical progress through regular reviews of systemic treatment.
- Engage and work with young people with a range of mental health needs and developmental difficulties, drawing upon your wealth of theoretical and practical knowledge.
- Support staff development through the provision of training, consultation, formulation meetings, and reflective practice sessions.
- Contribute to service developments within the Therapies Team and wider service.
- Completed a Qualifying course in Systemic Psychotherapy at Master's or doctorate level, accredited by the AFT.
- Registration with UKCP.
- Experience working with adolescents and their families presenting with complex mental health needs, high-risk behaviors, and neurodevelopmental conditions in a CAMHS setting.
- Annual salary of £48,000 - £50,000.
