Systemic Psychotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systemic Psychotherapist to join our Eating Disorder Day Service at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work as part of a clinical team, providing high-quality specialist systemic psychotherapy services to clients, their families, or carers.
Key Duties:- Provide a qualified, high-quality specialist systemic psychotherapy service to individuals, carers, families, and groups, within and across teams, in line with evidence-based practice and trust care pathways.
- Hold and manage a clinical caseload, exercising autonomous professional responsibility for the planning and prioritizing of own workload and the assessment, treatment, and discharge of clients, within the bounds of the service operational policy.
- Complete assessments of those referred to the service and outcome this in a timely manner in line with code of Conduct.
- Provide consultation, mentorship, supervision, and advice about psychological issues to other members of the team and other professionals working with service users, across a range of agencies/settings as appropriate.
- Work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice within the service/team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Recognised accredited postgraduate level training in a psychological therapy relevant to Children and Young People.
- Professionally registered to work with Children and Young People.
- A high level of competence in applying a psychological therapy to complex difficulties appropriate for Children and Young People.
- Wide knowledge of local and national policies.
The successful candidate will have:
- Recognised accredited postgraduate level training in a psychological therapy as specified.
- Substantial post-qualification/accreditation experience of specialist psychological therapy (assessment, formulation, and treatment).
- A high level of competence in applying a psychological therapy to complex difficulties appropriate for this therapy with the client group served by the post.
- Significant experience of working with young people with an eating disorder.
- Evidence of continuing professional development as required by the professional registration/accrediting body.
