Job Title: Relationship Manager

We are seeking a skilled Relationship Manager to join our team at Saffron Building Society. As a key member of our development finance team, you will be responsible for managing relationships with clients and third parties, including surveyors, quantity surveyors, and solicitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of development finance cases from Heads of Terms through to completion and sale of properties.
  • Contribute to the development and achievement of development finance lending objectives.
  • Attend client meetings and prepare client documents for internal systems.
  • Provide research and market intelligence to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to audit and compliance requirements.
  • Review and monitor self-build cases and self-build watch list, reporting findings and recommendations to Credit Committee.
  • Highlight deterioration in development finance RAG status and outline remediation required.
  • Facilitate repeat business from existing borrowers.
  • Represent Saffron For Intermediaries at external events.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable relationship management experience in dealing with clients and third parties.
  • In-depth knowledge of property development and self-build finance.
  • Ability to work with the Society's operating systems and good overall IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
