Our premium care facility is located in the serene suburbs of Aberdeen, delivering outstanding standards of Nursing, Residential, Dementia & Respite care to 68 residents.
As a Culinary Support Specialist, your role will involve assisting in the preparation and service of high-quality meals and beverages while ensuring a clean and safe environment for food production.
Culinary Support Specialist Contract
- £11.44 per hour
- Contracted to 40 hours per week (Weekend work required)
- Pension plan
- 5.6 weeks of annual leave
- Uniform provided
- Onsite parking available
- PVG costs covered
Key Responsibilities - Perform tasks within the kitchen area according to the work schedule, including:
- Food preparation.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, equipment, and appliances.
- Receiving, inspecting, and securely storing kitchen deliveries.
- Understanding and applying safe food handling practices.
- Implementing cleaning procedures and requirements for various surfaces and equipment.
- Ensuring that all areas are well-presented and kept in good condition.
- Practicing safe work systems across a variety of tasks.
- Being aware of personal responsibilities regarding Health and Safety at Work legislation.
- Acting in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
- Promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Advising and communicating with the management team regarding the supply and quality of items used in tasks.
- Responsible for the safe and organized storage of supplies and equipment in accordance with your area of work.
- Taking responsibility to read, understand, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
