Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team in Southall. As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive care to individuals and families within our healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Patient Assessments: Conduct thorough patient assessments, including health histories and physical exams, to identify and diagnose medical conditions.
  • Diagnose and Treat Medical Conditions: Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions, including prescribing medications and ordering and interpreting tests.
  • Develop Patient Care Plans: Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual patient needs and circumstances.
  • Educate Patients and Families: Educate patients and their families about their health conditions and treatment options, promoting health literacy and empowerment.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals, to provide comprehensive care.
  • Maintain Accurate Patient Records: Maintain accurate and complete patient records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to data protection regulations.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nursing: Hold a Master's degree in Nursing with an emphasis on Advanced Practice Nursing.
  • Active Nursing License: Possess an active nursing license and certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
  • Strong Clinical Skills: Demonstrate strong clinical skills, including the ability to diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a busy caseload and prioritize demands.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records: Have experience working with electronic health records and other healthcare technology.
Sessional/Hourly Rate
  • £35-£45 per hour: Earn a competitive hourly rate of £35-£45, depending on experience.
Length of Booking/Number of Sessions
  • 2 days a week for a month: Commit to working 2 days a week for a month, with a view to potentially extending the contract.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements
  • NMC Registered Nurse: Be a NMC registered Nurse.
  • Right to Work in the UK: Possess the right to work in the UK.
