Job Description

Your Role:

As a Renewable Energy Market Strategist, you will be responsible for:

  1. Building your own client portfolio through direct prospecting and networking to originate new business and increase market share
  2. Understanding and identifying arbitrage opportunities in the renewable energy commodity market to originate deal flow for your trade book
  3. Creating strategic trade solutions to ensure obligated parties reach their compliance goals
  4. Developing an understanding of the landscape within the market including product knowledge, industry challenges, legislative and geopolitical changes
  5. Maintaining relationships in the renewable energy sector
  6. Representing the firm at conferences and engage with stakeholders within the industry
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  1. 3-5 years of sales, trading, brokerage or account management experience
  2. Highly self-motivated person who thrives in a dynamic work environment and demonstrates a flexible and adaptable work style that responds quickly
  3. Previous sales, cold calling, outreach, prospecting experience
  4. Undergraduate Degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Environmental Studies or a related field
