Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate import operations, including sourcing, repairs, and return material authorisation (RMA), in collaboration with stakeholders such as carriers, freight forwarders, and custom brokers.
  • Support Customs Compliance, controlling the IPR process from RMA to Bill of Discharge, working closely with import brokers to ensure compliance with import and trade regulations.
  • Organise and maintain comprehensive shipment records, ensuring that documentation is complete and accessible for audit purposes, verifying/reviewing shipping documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with customs requirements.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues and maintain high professional standards.
Requirements:
  • Manufacturing sector experience is essential.
  • Proven import process experience for a manufacturing organisation with IPR (Inward Processing Relief) process experience.
  • Established experience of import processes within a manufacturing environment including Returned Goods Relief.
  • A team player, with the ability to work independently.
  • Display an eye for detail and getting things right.
  • Know how to listen and communicate effectively with others.
