Trainee Installation Engineer Position Overview

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Trainee Installation Engineer to join their team in the Northampton area.

The company designs, installs, and maintains ventilation systems across various industries, including Aerospace, Motorsport, Education, Defence, Nuclear, and Renewables.

As a Trainee Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the Fitting team with the installation of industrial bespoke extraction systems nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the installation of extraction systems on customer premises.
  • Regularly use scissor lifts and cherry pickers.
  • Maintain stocks of standard parts and spare parts on service vehicles.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment used are in good working order.
  • Travel nationwide for installations, with occasional overnight stays.
Requirements:
  • Mechanical mindset through employment or education.
  • Knowledge of LEV systems and mechanical background advantageous.
  • IPAF, FLT, PASMA, CSCS certifications beneficial.
  • Full UK driving license desirable but not mandatory.
  • Committed team player with excellent time-keeping and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work at heights and follow instructions.
