About the Role
We have a new opportunity for a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team at Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust.
This role will involve providing evidence-based interventions, assessments, and support to children and families with complex neuro-disability and neurodevelopmental needs.
You will be working within a friendly and supportive Children's Therapies Team with Physiotherapists and speech and Language Therapists at St Marys Hospital.
Main Responsibilities
As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for managing a defined caseload of patients using evidence-based person-centred principles.
You will also assist in the supervision of Occupational Therapy students and assistants, actively contribute to the development of the Occupational Therapy Service, and work alongside specialist therapists across other disciplines.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have relevant qualifications and current registration with HCPC, a current clean, full driving license, and high-level written and oral communication skills.
You will also need to be self-motivated and able to work in a team environment, with knowledge and understanding of the application of quality care and evidence-based practice.
