Perinatal Mental Health Nursing Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced specialist to fill a 6-month fixed-term contract as a Perinatal Mental Health Nurse. This role will involve working closely with patients in the perinatal period, utilizing evidence-based models of care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans for patients with complex needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and effective risk management.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of community partnerships through expert consultation and guidance.
  • Support ongoing professional development through regular supervision and training opportunities.
Person SpecificationQualifications and Experience
  • Registration as a Mental Health Nurse with current NMC status.
  • Proven experience in mentorship and supervision.
  • Continuous professional development in perinatal mental health.
Key Skills and Abilities
  • Adept at making informed decisions based on clinical knowledge.
  • Strong engagement and intervention skills for individuals with mental health issues.
  • Effective risk assessment and management strategies.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
Estimated Salary Range

This role offers a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
