Leeds, Leeds, United Kingdom Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust Full time

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operational Team Manager to join our team at Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and develop our community therapy services, working closely with the Operational Service Manager and Clinical Therapy team.

In this role, you will have oversight of staff within the service, managing appraisals, 1:1s, training, and performance. You will also be responsible for implementing the Business Continuity Plan, ensuring demand and capacity are managed while taking into account peaks and troughs of the service.

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of support staff needs, experience of complex decision-making, and the ability to work alongside HR. You will also understand capacity and demand, supporting the drive to reduce waiting list times, and have confidence in working within business continuity.

This is a city-wide role, requiring travel across Leeds to be visible to staff and on hand to support operationally day-to-day but also on an ad-hoc basis. The role involves forming relationships with partners across the whole system, promoting the service and working in partnership with Leeds City Council colleagues to provide a robust therapy service.

We offer a range of benefits, including generous annual leave and access to NHS discount sites. Our salary for this position is approximately £45,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
