About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust. As an OTA, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients in their recovery journey, delivering person-centred interventions in a wide range of community settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Occupational Therapists in delivering interventions and activities to patients
  • Support patients in their daily lives, promoting independence and well-being
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective care delivery
  • Liaise with carers, outside agencies, and community resources to facilitate care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans
Requirements
  • Relevant qualification in healthcare or experience in delivering healthcare services
  • Knowledge of mental health conditions relevant to our patient group
  • Understanding of the role of Occupational Therapy and its benefits
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
