The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking up to two consultants to join its department of Diabetes and Endocrinology based at the North Devon District Hospital site in Barnstaple, with opportunities for cross-site working at the Barnstaple and Exeter site.
As a consultant in this field, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that delivers face-to-face and remote care from both sites. The department is fully integrated, and you will work closely with diabetes specialist nurses, endocrine specialist nurses, dieticians, podiatrists, and psychologists.
With a strong focus on research and innovation, the trust offers access to a multi-million-pound clinical research facility, is a NIHR Biomedical Research Centre, and has a significant development budget. You will have the opportunity to develop sub-specialty interests and pursue research and teaching interests.
The trust prides itself on patient care, learning, and rapid career progression. As a senior healthcare professional, you will play a key role in shaping services and contributing to the integration journey.

The estimated salary for this role is £100,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
