About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Healthcare Support Specialist. This role is ideal for someone who wants to make a difference in the lives of patients in a hospital setting.

The successful candidate will assist qualified nurses in meeting the basic nursing needs of patients, working from their own initiative and thriving in a fast-paced environment. The day-to-day routine will consist of:

  • Meeting patients' hygiene and toileting needs
  • Serving meals and assisting patients to eat and drink
  • Taking and recording of vital observations
  • Maintaining good levels of stock and PPE
  • Assisting with wound dressings

There will be opportunities for further development with training and education, including basic life support training and training to take blood glucose levels.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a range of benefits, including access to training and education, opportunities for career progression, and a supportive work environment.
