Teaching Assistant Role:

We are seeking a qualified Academic Assistant to work within a school environment, providing support and assistance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

About the Position:

The successful candidate will have prior experience working with SEN students in an educational setting and possess a good understanding of SEN strategies and interventions. They will be responsible for implementing individualised learning plans and strategies as directed by the class teacher, assisting with classroom management and behaviour support for SEN students, and supporting students with personal care needs if required.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and assistance to students with SEN in a classroom setting
  • Implement individualised learning plans and strategies as directed by the class teacher
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour support for SEN students
  • Support students with personal care needs if required

Requirements:

  • Experience working with SEN students in an educational setting
  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Estimated Salary Range: £85 - £100 per day

Location: West Midlands, Wolverhampton
