Job Opportunity

Sanderson Recruitment Plc is seeking a highly skilled ESG Reporting Manager to join their team on a fixed-term basis (circa 6-8 months). The successful candidate will support the existing reporting team in delivering high-quality ESG reports under the guidance of the Head of ESG Reporting.

About the Role

The ESG Reporting Manager will be responsible for managing the delivery of the company's current ESG reporting suite, which includes the Responsible Business report and data appendix, annual report, summary reports, and responsible business pages on the company website. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the lead ESG reporting manager to deliver the 2024/25 ESG reporting suite.
  • Project managing the data collection process for responsible business key performance indicators (KPIs), including data review and audit.
  • Auditing and assuring responsible business data, ensuring compliance with best practice reporting standards.
  • Coordinating the responsible business reporting team, including internal and external specialists.
  • Supporting the wider Reporting team on preparation for upcoming requirements, such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Technical expertise and experience in sustainability reporting.
  • An understanding of best practice reporting standards, frameworks, and regulations.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, synthesis, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in report design and content creation, including briefing agencies and providing constructive feedback.
