Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Clinical Lead in Pulmonology to join our dynamic team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with other consultant colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled medical professional to join our outstanding respiratory team. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership, diagnosis, management and treatment for patients in respiratory medicine. Your expertise in a specialist area of Respiratory Medicine, such as lung cancer or ILD, will be invaluable to our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside other consultant colleagues to provide a quality service to the Trust, with responsibility for the diagnosis and treatment of patients referred to respiratory services within both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
  • Professional supervision and management of junior medical staff.
  • Participate in the weekly consultant Hot Week Rota for the respiratory ward and respond to respiratory referrals from an inpatient perspective.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £120,000 - £150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
