About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in the High Peak area. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our manufacturing machinery. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a leading food manufacturer and contribute to their growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair packaging machinery, conveyors, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal machine efficiency.
- Work on fast-moving manufacturing lines and respond to breakdowns quickly.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production targets.
Requirements:
- Time-served mechanical engineer with experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
- Multi-skilled engineer with knowledge of packaging machinery, conveyors, and general mechanical work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
