About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and social support to clients, engaging in activities and conversations to promote their well-being and independence.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as food preparation, household chores, and personal care, to help clients maintain their dignity and quality of life.
  • Support clients in the community, accompanying them on outings, shopping trips, and appointments, and helping them to maintain their social connections.
  • Offer mobility support and transportation, assisting clients with wheelchair transfers and helping them to get to their desired destinations.

Requirements

  • A means of transportation to enable you to visit clients in their own homes.
  • A commitment to providing high-quality care and support to clients, with a focus on their individual needs and preferences.
  • A willingness to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of our clients.
