As a Litigation Paralegal, you will be responsible for administering a large caseload of debt recovery litigation files, managing deadlines, and ensuring that all legal processes are followed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and reviewing litigation documents such as claims, witness statements, and other court filings.
- Monitoring and adhering to strict litigation deadlines, maintaining accurate case records, and ensuring timely filings and compliance with court requirements.
- Communicating with clients, debtors, solicitors, and other relevant parties in a professional, efficient, and effective manner.
- Managing automated case management systems and utilizing technology to streamline workflows.
- Liaising between internal departments and external correspondents, providing updates and ensuring clear, concise communication.
Requirements:
- Law degree or equivalent qualification.
- Ideally a minimum of 2 years' experience in litigation, ideally with a focus on debt recovery.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple litigation files independently.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in managing legal documentation and deadlines.
