Healthcare Medicines Expertise Developer

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Prince Charles Hospital, where you will have the opportunity to develop your expertise in relation to medicines and health. This fixed-term training contract of 24 months will provide you with the necessary experience and qualifications to register as a pharmacy technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
The estimated salary for this position is around £27,000 per annum, initially paid at 70% of Annex 21 Band 4, progressing to 75% after 12 months.
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work as part of a healthcare team, developing a high level of expertise in relation to medicines and health. You will focus on management and use of medicines to ensure that all types of people get the best outcomes from their medicines.
Main Duties of the Job:
- Gain experience reflecting the changing and growing roles of the Pharmacy Technician
- Work as part of a healthcare team in a hospital setting
