Part Time Catering and Maintenance Assistant

£11.44 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated Catering and Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Baskeyfield House in Stoke-on-Trent.

At Sanctuary Group, we strive to deliver exceptional support services to enable individuals to live independently.

The role of Catering and Maintenance Assistant will involve:

  • Preparing meals and drinks while adhering to food hygiene standards
  • Collaborating with customers, families, advocates, and staff to ensure high-quality services
  • Performing general duties, such as maintaining kitchen cleanliness, communal areas, and customer flats
  • Identifying potential faults and hazards on site to ensure a safe environment
  • Maintaining stock levels and ensuring equipment is used correctly

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Desirable working knowledge and experience of cleaning duties
  • Some experience in domestic/catering environments
  • Level 2 diploma in housekeeping/catering or willingness to work towards it
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • A basic understanding of workplace health and safety
