Join Our Team as a Child Practitioner

Bright Horizons Family Solutions, LLC. is seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Practitioner to join our team at our Westchester nursery. As a Child Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Nursery colleagues in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, and encouraging their development towards key milestones.
  • Work as part of a larger team to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed in line with nursery demands, including hygiene standards and room preparation.
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health, and safety, and safeguarding.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive, happy, and safe environment for all children and staff.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children is ideal, but not essential. Relevant qualifications and training will be considered.
  • A passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • The ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
  • A sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children.
  • The ability to be flexible and adaptable.
