About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons Westchester House Day Nursery and Preschool in Farnham. As a key member of our nursery team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, implement, and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child's needs to promote their development and progress towards key milestones.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Promote and ensure the welfare, protection, health, and safety of children, adhering to safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive, happy, and safe environment within the nursery, working collaboratively with colleagues.

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working with children, ideally in a nursery or similar setting.
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with children and adults.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and legislative requirements for working with children.
