Senior Staff Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Band 6 Nurse to join our dynamic Emergency Department team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our nursing team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical care to patients in the Emergency Department, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, including nursing assistants and students, to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
- Contribute to the development of the nursing team, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Level 1 RGN qualification and relevant post-registration experience in A&E.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Basic IT skills and experience with electronic patient records.
- ILS certificate and competency in venepuncture and cannulation.
