As a Technical Director - Ecology, you will be responsible for growing and managing a successful ecology business at a divisional level. You will have the autonomy to drive change, deliver excellence, and grow our client base in the regions under your accountability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ecology and biodiversity, with a proven track record of leadership and management experience. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to grow the team, managing projects, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the ecology and biodiversity team
  • Manage projects and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policy
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Lead and manage a team of ecologists and biodiversity specialists
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
Requirements:
  • MCIEEM / CEcol / CEnv preferred
  • Leadership / management experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and iteratively within a multidisciplinary design team
