We are seeking a skilled Critical Facilities Technician to join our team at Iron Mountain in Slough. As a key member of our data center operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and uptime of our electrical and mechanical systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering, with experience in a critical operations environment. You will be responsible for performing regular maintenance tasks, monitoring systems, and resolving issues in a 24x7 data center environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical systems to ensure reliability and uptime.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues with critical power, cooling, and security systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve system performance.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to internal stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Relevant electrical or mechanical engineering degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in a critical operations environment, preferably in a data center.
