Job Title: Financial Controller

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at IronMarket Talent. As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review monthly financial results, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Provide in-depth analysis of monthly management accounts, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement financial reporting processes, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Collaborate with budget holders to drive cost-saving initiatives and improve financial efficiency.
  • Manage cash flow forecasts, identifying potential issues and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Lead the annual budget process, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and budget holders.
  • Develop and implement financial forecasting processes, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
  • Lead, manage, and develop the Finance team, ensuring workload is distributed fairly and staff are supported.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in a manufacturing environment, with experience in financial leadership and management.
  • CIMA/ACCA qualified, with strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a passion for developing and mentoring a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Excel and ERP systems, with experience in financial data analysis and reporting.
