About the Role

Arla Foods is seeking a skilled Reliability Technician to join our team at Taw Valley. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our dairy site, with a focus on technical standards and operator asset care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for technical standards, including operator asset care in the LCO Area
  • Responsible for reducing unplanned downtime through systematic continuous improvement work
  • Responsible for enabling and coaching operators and technical operators in technical standards and operator asset care
  • Contribute to a healthy, inclusive, and safe work environment and role model our character mindset
  • Ensure awareness and compliance
  • Owns and leads weekly CI meetings related to unplanned stops, applying structured problem-solving and improvement tools
  • Owns, analyzes, and tracks asset maintenance data, including data quality and completeness
  • Ensures that LCO Area improvement activities are quantified and reflected in the global continuous improvement database
  • Owns the plan for improvement of technical reliability for lines
  • Owns operator asset care standards and competence development in the Line Team
  • Defines, processes confirms, and improves technical standards, including operator asset care
  • Trains and coaches the Line Team to ensure performance according to technical standards
  • Initiates and drives the correction of complex faults, ensuring sustainable improvements
  • Gives input to content and frequency of preventive maintenance

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need a skilled technical education and/or equivalent experience, as well as knowledge of LEAN principles and data management. You will also need to be a role model for using data and applying lean and APS tools in a structured way, and give input to the content and frequency of preventive maintenance.
