Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional to join our team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and proactive service, providing expert clinical practice in the field of cardiac rehabilitation.
Main Duties- To be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of own work, ensuring that work is within professional standards and Cardiac Rehab clinical guidelines.
- To participate in the Cardiac Rehab assessment process, performing overview assessments as appropriate and communicate relevant medical information, assessment details, and advice across agencies following Trust Guidelines for sharing of information and informed consent.
- BACPR Phase IV Cardiac Rehabilitation Exercise Trainers Certificate, plus one of the following qualifications: Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP), BSc in a relevant exercise and health-related degree with BASES CEP/AHCS CEP registration, or Exercise Instructor Ongoing registration with CIMSPA at Level 4, together with extensive experience in early/core rehab.
- A minimum of 12 months' experience in cardiac rehabilitation, including experience of planning, leading, and evaluating exercise sessions for the cardiac population, working with individuals to help them change physical activity/health behaviour, and risk stratifying and prescribing safe and effective exercise programmes.
We offer a competitive salary, dependent on experience, ranging from £40,000 to £55,000 per annum. You will also have access to a range of benefits, including career development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a staff recognition scheme. Estimated annual salary: £45,000.
